Trade bodies and developers will discuss how to put your studio on the map

UKTI and Game Republic hosting free event about reaching a global audience

Yorkshire-based organisation Game Republic has teamed up with government body UK Trade & Investment to teach devs more about the opportunities that away beyond the shores of Britain.

The two firms are hosting a free conference in Leeds on Tuesday, May 19th, with sessions delving into how to get the most out of international events such as GDC and Gamescom, how to pitch your games and how UKTI can support developers looking to travel to events abroad.

You can register your place via the conference’s Eventbrite page.

Speakers include Game Republic’s Jamie Sefton, Formerdroid’s Fee Stewart and Red Kit Games’ Simon Iwaniszak.

There will also be a Q&A with Develop editor James Batchelor about trends in the games development industry and advice on how studios can get media coverage for their game.

The event will take place at the Everyman Leeds theatre, and runs from 9.30pm to 1pm.
