Notable developer Patrice Désilets has revealed his latest venture: he has opened a brand new studio.
Named Panache Digital Games, little is known about the company or what it will be working on, although Désilets is inviting people to sign up for an email newsletter through the studio’s site, which will later deliver updates on Panache’s games.
This is the first word on what Désilets is up to after the Assassin’s Creed creator left Ubisoft for a second time, Game Informer notes.
He originally left Ubisoft in June 2010, joining THQ. The publisher opened a new studio for him in Montreal, which began work on a mysterious title known only as 1666.
However, when THQ succumbed to bankruptcy, Désilets’ studio was acquired by Ubisoft in an assets auction. He promptly left again in May 2013, although he claims he was fired and later sued Ubisoft.
