Harrison quits Nintendo

Following months of speculation, Nintendo’s US based senior vice president of marketing and corporate communication has confirmed that he will be leaving the format holder in December.

The initial rumours that Harrison and other top execs would leave the firm emerged In June, when the decision was made to move its sales and marketing staff from Redmond, Washington to San Francisco and New York.

Harrison, who has been with Nintendo since 1992, would not say what he was doing after the move, simply telling Reuters: "I have confirmed to all employees that I will be leaving at the end of December and not making the move to California."
