Representatives from 55 companies to visit Manchester and Brighton

Global games development firms descend on UK

UK Trade & Investment is bringing a delegation of 55 games companies from around the world to Manchester and Brighton, UK next week.

The events give local companies a chance to exhibit their wares to companies from Japan, China, Australia, South America and Europe.

The representatives will be visiting the City of Manchester Stadium from July 23rd-24th, before heading to Brighton to coincide with the Develop conference.

Margaret Bourke, a technology sector expert at UKTI’s north west international trade team, told the Manchester Evening News: "This event is a huge opportunity for local games producers.

“It provides a cost-efficient and highly effective way for them to showcase their products and meet the people who are in a real position to make decisions to do business with them. These overseas companies are here because they want to see what is available in the UK."
