Nintendo’s Developers Conference 2007 is taking place today in Santa Monica, and Vicious Cycle is one of the companies on hand demonstrating its tools.
Its Vicious Engine middleware will be on show and has been specifically chosen by Nintendo – according to the company a number of studios have been quick to use the software for their Wii productions as the tool was registered as a software solution for the platform early on.
The engine itself boasts a toolset for rapid prototyping and easy cross-platform conversion.
It’s just one of a clutch of new tools joining Nintendo’s tools and middleware program. Last night Fonix announced its voice recognition was available for Wii developers.
Vicious itself was last week acquired by D3P.
