Top apps of 2010 revealed

This year’s most popular iPhone apps have been revealed – and the majority are games.

Angry Birds has become the most popular paid-for iPhone app of 2010, while Facebook was the most downloaded free app.

Paper Toss and Angry Birds Lite were the most popular free-to-download games, while Doodle Jump, Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja and more also made it into the Top Ten paid-for apps.

On the iPad Slice It was named the top paid-for app, while Pages was the top grossing utility and iBooks the most popular free download.
