Games designer American McGee has announced he will be making an episodic adventure for GameTap.

American McGee signs with GameTap for episodic title

McGee announced the news via his official blog, although took the details down later on.

Called American McGee’s Grimm the game will be delivered in 24 chunks via GameTap’s digital delivery service – the same portal that has recently provided both a vast catalouge of retro and former boxed product to PC owners and also new games such as TellTale’s Sam and Max Adventures.

McGee revealed that his former development partner RJ Berg, who worked with him as writer and exec producer on previous game Alice, was working on the new game.

"I’m really happy to be once again working on twisted fairy tales," wrote McGee in his now-missing blog post, "and I’m especially excited about having R.J. Berg involved with the project."
