GDC Expo to be split in two

Having recently confirmed that the game development conference will be significantly
expanded in order to satisfy the demand created by the effective closure of E3, next year’s conference expo will take up both the West and North halls of the San Francisco Moscone Center.

The West Hall will be the traditional must-see area where established game development companies reveal the latest tools and technologies.

The North Hall, meanwhile, is to be a place for emerging and experimental technologies in a more relaxed, community-centric atmostphere. The North Hall also has slightly longer opening hours, starting at 9am every day.

GDC 07 takes place from March 5th to 9th in San Francisco.
