Processor firm Nvidia is continuing its prestigious Fellowship Programme for the next academic year, offering funding to PhD projects that will aid the progress of graphics development research.

Nvidia opens 07/08 fellowship programme

The Programme provides funding to PHD students researching topics that will lead to major advances in graphics. Those awarded a place recieve funding and are about to conduct their work with access to Nvidia products and technology.

Dr. David Kirk, chief scientist at NVIDIA said: "The Fellowship Programme is designed to stimulate and support excellence in graphics and computing research in universities worldwide and to promote communication between Nvidia’s R&D team and outstanding students and professors."

Since its inception in 2002 the programme has awarded over one million dollars in funding to assist 45 PhD students with their research.
