Last month, GREE announced it would show its face (for the first time) at this year’s Cologne-based gamescom 2012, a game-centric event that invites developers and publishers to demo their newest titles.
The Japanese firm will operate under an appointment-only basis in the business hall, while the firm will also hold a booth in consumer hall 9.1 during the conference which runs from August 15th-19th.
Titles due for unveiling include:
• Wacky Motors – Weapon-based racing game with vehicle customisation.
• Metal Slug F2P – War game that enables users to fly solo, or unite an army with other players to prevent an invasion.
• Astro Pizza – A freemium game that invites players to run their own pizza place in outer space.
• Moshi Monsters Games – Following on from GREE’s recent partnership with Mind Candy, the firm is launching two new Moshi Monsters games.
Meanwhile, GREE execs will be floating around the conference for the chance to snap up new recruits.
