Six of the UK’s top B2B brands are now under new ownership

The Datateam Media Group has today announced the acquisition of AMI, Bike Biz, Licensing.biz, MCV, PCR and Toy News, plus all associated events.

Datateam Media Group already operates numerous B2B brands and events in the UK and overseas across a range of sectors, including med comms, pharma, manufacturing, building services and retail to name just a few. Its headquarters are in Maidstone, Kent.

The six newly acquired brands, which have been bought from Future plc, will form Biz Media, a new company with its own offices at 70 Newcomen Street, near London Bridge station.

All current team members are transferring over to the new business, which will be led by media director Colin Wilkinson.

Commenting on today’s news, Datateam Media Group managing director, Parvez Kayani says: “We feel very fortunate to have been able to acquire these niche market products; it’s particularly exciting for us as these are all highly respected brands, with great teams behind them. ”

Chris Convey, Corporate Development Director of Future plc added: “As part of our portfolio review, we are very happy to have found an appropriate buyer for these titles which are not core to Future’s strategy. We are confident that these brands will perform well under Datateam’s ownership.”

New, complete contact details will be distributed shortly by the individual brands.
