MCV and Gamescom announce partnership for fourth year of MCV@Gamescom

MCV is today excited to announce that MCV@Gamescom daily will return in 2018. Last year there were 30,700 trade visitors to Gamescom, along with 919 exhibiting companies from 54 countries. Throw in 350,000 consumers as well and that makes the event Europe’s biggest trade and consumer show, and the number one platform for the games industry. And it keeps on growing year-on-year.

Tim Enderes, director of gamescom at Koelnmesse commented: "MCV was the perfect media partner for an English-language B2B daily right from the start," adding "MCV has been and remains the first choice for us."

For the fourth year running, our MCV editorial team will be out at Gamescom in force, covering all the latest news and events around the show as they happen. The daily magazine is the best way to keep up with events at the show, across all three trade days, as the exclusive english-language publication.

"The team from MCV carries out high quality editorial work, both in the context of the gamescom daily, and in general. In the case of MCV@gamescom, we can look back on many years of constructive cooperation: together we formulate themes year-after-year that are of relevance for our trade visitors, whether trade fair news, services or relevant industry themes, and supplement the existing cooperation with new added value," Enderes added.

Distributed at entrances to the trade halls, the MCV@Gamescom daily is the best way for exhibitors to the communicate to the industry and drive visitors to stands. With so many companies exhibiting at the show, it’s a big opportunity to stand out.

MCV publisher Mark Burton, managing director at NewBay, said: "We’re delighted to be producing the MCV@Gamescom daily for the fourth year. The publication has gone from strength-to-strength and we have exciting plans to make it even bigger and better in 2018. Our whole editorial team will be on the ground at Gamescom. And following the recent merger of our MCV and Develop brands, we’ll be bringing a sharp new design and industry-spanning outlook to attendees of the show."
