President of 2K Games and one of the founders of the label, Christoph Hartmann, has left the company.
Hartmann was one of the founding members of the 2K brand back in 2005 and has been working for Take-Two Interactive for over two decades.
Whilst there has been no offical word on their website, the company have offered a statement to Game Informer, saying: "We can confirm that there has been a management change at the leadership level of 2K. For more than a decade, Christoph Hartmann has helped 2K to become an industry leader and we are grateful for his contributions and wish him well on his future endeavors."
2K has been one of the biggest labels in games publishing over his time at the company, earning annual release licences for NBA and WWE games, along with releasing popular franchises like BioShock and Mafia.
The news broke last night and preceeded another former 2K man, Neil Ralley, joining 505 Games as president.
