Kiz Studios confirm layoffs

Mobile games outfit Kiz Studios, best known for work on titles Might & Mayhem and Little Bigfoot, have announced layoffs this week, claiming that the company is looking to "adjust to current market trends"

Gamasutra first noticed the news via social media posts, and reached out to Kiz Studios who confirmed the redundancies. Kiz Studios wouldn’t confirm how many jobs were lost at the company, who has said that the company is retaining teams in all three of its offices, which are located at three offices across the U.K and U.S.

"On February 22, 2017 Kiz Studios restructured three of our gaming studios in order to focus on our new Global Services practice," stated the Kiz representative in a statement. "This process maintains strong teams in our Charleston, Atlanta, and UK studios while allowing us to adjust to current market trends and continue the development of high quality games."

We ran a studio spotlight on Kiz Studios back in October 2016. Anyone affected by the layoffs are encouraged to reach out to us via email with any infromation, with confidentiality guarenteed.
