The new studio will provide development assistance for publishers that need support making their games. The branch is expected to be fully operational by the summer.
Sperasoft already has offices in San Jose, Austin and St Petersburg, employing more than 250 staff.
“Poland historically has a very strong presence in game development, especially in triple-A projects for consoles and PC,” said Sperasoft CEO Igor Efremov
“We would like to tap into this talent pool and feel that opening an office in Krakow will give us access to some extremely gifted developers. We plan to have a lot of exciting projects for our Krakow office and are now actively hiring in the area.”
