Sperasoft has been massively expanding its team for the past few years and should keep up with the fast-paced hiring for the months to come. The US based company has opened a new office in Krakow last year and works with major games publishers such as EA, Warner Bros, Riot Games and 2K.
“At any given time we have anywhere from 30 to 40 open positions across our global offices,” says Sperasoft’s CEO Igor Efremov. The firm is looking for professionals from all fields of development, he adds.
“This year we would like expand our worldwide studio locations by adding 100 more developers,” he explains.
Efremov points out that devs wanting to work at Sperasoft will “have unique opportunity to work across an impressive list of the projects, while working in a supportive nurturing company that puts its people first.”
“We pride ourselves as a company that values its staff and we show this through our many training and personal development initiatives. Our management team all have comprehensive development backgrounds and are very hands on and available to all the staff that work with us,” Efremov asserts.
Over the past few years, Sperasoft has been working on vast projects such as Dragon Age, Inquisition, Mass Effect, Star Wars: The Old Republic, League of Legends, FIFA and NHL.
As a consequence of this wide range of projects, developers wanting to work for Sperasoft should be willing to relocate, primarily in the company’s St Petersburg office.
“St Petersburg is a vibrant and up and coming city, named the best destination in Europe in at the 2015 world Travel Awards. The living costs are lower than a great many places in the USA. But St Petersburg is just one of the Sperasoft offices, we have job vacancies all over the world including Canada, Austin, San Fran and Poland,” Sperasoft’s CEO explains.
“Each case has to be taken on an individual basis but we help with relocation costs and have people on the ground to help with all the practical stuff like finding apartments and getting settled in,“ he adds.
