The Ubisoft Graduate Program is back for 2015, inviting aspiring developers and upcoming graduates to work at some of the Assassin’s Creed publisher’s biggest studios.
The initiative was first launched last year, and offers applicants the chance to learn a variety of development disciplines while working at a Ubisoft developer, with the aim being to have them apply for a job at Ubisoft by the end of the two-year program.
"Through this program, aspiring developers have a unique opportunity to enter into a fast-placed workplace where they’ll be able to get plenty of hands-on experience working within an international team," communications specialist Anne Lewis wrote on the Ubisoft blog.
"And the best part is, there’s no prior work experience required."
For the first year, graduates will be based at a studio within their home country, while the second is spent abroad. There are 13 studios involved: Ubisoft’s internal Paris, Annecy, Montpellier, Kiev, Bucharest, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and Singapore studios, as well as Redlynx, Reflections, RedStorm and Massive Entertainment.
Successful applicants will be paid a salary, and the cost of relocation and housing will be handled for the year abroad.
There are three disciplines to work in: project management, online programming, and gameplay programming.
Applications are now open for the second year of the Ubisoft Graduate Program. Head to the official website to apply. The application deadline is January 31st, and is open to anyone that will have graduated by September 2015.
