Former Iamantisocial Entertainment CEO impressed by mobile studio’s 'dedication'

Former Assassin’s Creed III designer joins Nordeus

Nordeus, the publisher of Top Eleven – Be a Football Manager, has Paul Baker as the newest addition to its game design team.

A developer of 21 years, Baker will lend his experience to support Nordeus’ goal of bringing millions of social gamers worldwide together, regardless of location or device.

"We’re thrilled to add Paul to the Nordeus team," said Branko Milutinovic, CEO of Nordeus.

“Paul brings years of experience that will allow us to better understand our players and really support our aspirations to develop top of the line mobile and social games for fans.”

Previously, Baker was CEO of Iamantisocial Entertainment, specialising in mobile and board game development. Before that, he was a senior designer for Checkpoint Studios as well as a designer at Ubisoft, where he worked on titles such as Assassin’s Creed III.

“I’m impressed by the passion and dedication at Nordeus,” said Baker. “It is inspiring to join a team that is so enthusiastic for the work that they do and I look forward to using my experience in the field to further bolster Nordeus’ place at the forefront of the games industry.”

Nordeus’ Top Eleven boasts more than 12 million monthly active users, and the studio is currently growing it headcount as a result. It has more than 100 people work on mobile games at its offices in Belgrade, Dublin, Skopje and San Francisco.

In August, the firm hired Kerrie Power to lead its customer relations, business development and marketing operations at its Dublin office.
