Dragon Ball Fighter Z beta is delayed until September

The console-only beta for Dragon Ball Fighter Z has been delayed until September.

Sign-ups for the beta were supposed to kick off today but now you’ll only be able to register your interest now next month, August 22 to be exact. The beta weekend will now run on September 16-17, shortly before the release of rival fighter Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

You’ll be able to play it on Xbox One and PS4, but only at certain times.

Here’s when you’ll be able to play in central European time. Just put the times into your timezone converter of choice and hey presto.

Saturday, September 16:

  • 10:00 – 13:00
  • 18:00 – 21:00

Sunday, September 17:

  • 02:00 – 05:00
  • 21:00 – 00:00

Now the only thing you have to do is get into the Beta.

There’s been no announcement of the release date for the game, but a strong showing at E3 and EVO has generated a lot of interest in the fighter. It’s due to land on Xbox One, PS4 and the PC all at the same time.
