Wii production push delayed

An expected boost in the number of Nintendo Wiis, initially slated for June, has been held up, according to

A shortage of internal components such as IC chips and PCBs has been blamed for the delay.

The component makers said that due to this it is unlikely that the worldwide shortage will be eased this year.
