Rocket Brands has opened up Skape.gg and Cre8tor to the public

The Swedish corporation Rocket Brands has announced plans to grow with the public launch of new online gaming community platforms Skape.gg and Cre8tor.

Skape.gg is a social network designed for the gaming and esports communities, and promises to provide a hub for both casual and competitive players to arrange matches and coaching, as well as rank one another. It will also include tools for tracking gaming progress, and streaming video content to other users in a safe and secure environment.

Cre8tor on the other hand is designed around opening up monetisation and brand partnership opportunities for a wider range of streamers and content creators. It connects to a users’ OBS software branch of choice, and once set up, is just a matter of selecting campaigns and letting its proprietary monetisation algorithms do their thing.

The team behind the Cre8tor ad platform promises that all campaign content will be ‘non-intrusive’, ‘ad-block immune’ and will not interfere with streamers or their online broadcasts. It also promises full transparency on earnings cuts, and says that streamers will receive the majority revenue share.

“Rocket Brands exists to nurture and support innovative companies, with a particular focus on gaming,” said Ole V. Hestaas and Paul Andrews, the co-founders of Rocket Brands in a joint statement about the launch.

“Both Skape.gg and Cre8tor are symbiotic platforms which we believe reset the paradigm in how gamers can create, share and come together in a safe and moderated space. We believe both companies exist to elevate the way consumers interact with gaming and their communities, and we look forward to sharing more news in the upcoming months as we continue to grow both platforms organically.”
