  • Boring

by Patsy on 1/8/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 2 out of 5

I have been to countless Disney On Ice shows, first with my (now adult) daughters and now with my granddaughter. This was, by far, the most disappointing show that I have experienced. The individual segments were way too long and, because of that the show neglected to include some of our favorite characters. Mickey, Minnie and the crew made a cameo appearance. Missing from the performance were Arielle, Woody and friends, Jasmine, Tiana, Mirabel, Snow White, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Pinocchio and all the fabulous music that we associate with those characters. The host and hostess wore drab, boring costumes and their dialog was very difficult to understand. Do not waste your money on this show.

  • If is not front seats don’t purchase expensive floor seats

by Lucho on 1/8/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 1 out of 5

I recently took my little ones to Disney on Ice and we purchased seats in the lower Section B, just behind the front row in Section A. Unfortunately, these turned out to be the worst seats for us. The view was completely obstructed by adults seated in the front row, and my kids couldn’t see the performance at all. It was incredibly disappointing, especially given the cost of the tickets. As a suggestion to the promoters, I believe it's important to consider that Disney on Ice is a family event with many young children attending. It would be more thoughtful to design seating arrangements that ensure little ones have a clear view, especially in areas where they are most likely to be seated. It’s disheartening to spend so much on an experience only to have it fall short. For future events, I will definitely be more cautious when selecting floor seats and will opt for those in the front row to avoid any similar issues.

  • Great show! Pushy merch staff

by Twin Mom on 1/8/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 4 out of 5

My kids absolutely loved Disney on Ice! They were so excited to be there and enjoyed singing along. The length of the first half, intermission, and second half were perfect. The venue was wonderful, security check and concessions staff in particular. My only complaint was the sneakily pushy merch staff, literally putting $42 light up wants into my children's hands while we were trying to decide which souvenir to purchase. Please let the parents decide, you don't know our budget and will start a meltdown!

  • not too impressed this year

I was not too impressed with the content of this years performance.

  • Fun, but could have been better.

    by M. on 1/7/25Rating: 3 out of 5

I have been taking my children to Disney On Ice for 8 years now. It is always something we really look forward to and enjoy so much. Out of all the years we have been, I have to say this was the most disappointing one. It lacked fun hosts (the hosts were two random people instead of Mickey and Friends), it lacked a lot of acrobatics and really intriguing scenes and characters like past shows. I really would have loved to see more characters/movies, better backdrops instead of the same castle being used for every scene pretty much. Would have loved to see Encanto, Finding Nemo, Cars, newer movies that young children are familiar with etc. The scenes seemed to be very drawn out and not as engaging or exciting as past shows. Of course we still had a great time and enjoyed it so much, but there is much potential that could have been and we hope next year's will be amazing like past shows.

  • Nana and Emma

by Nana on 1/7/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 4 out of 5

Great experience with my 5 year old grand daughter. It was fun to watch her expressions and excitement when certain characters came onto the ice. We went to this show last year and there was more jumps and showings coming down from the ceiling which we missed this year.

  • Fun for the Family

by EvanC on 1/7/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 4 out of 5

Second show for one child, first show for the other. Both enjoyed the experience.

  • Not the best

by Shay on 1/7/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 1 out of 5

I have seen many Disney on ice performances and I can say this was by far the worst. It was not very engaging and played more scenes of movies as opposed to engaging the audience. If a kid hadn’t seen the movie because, let’s be honest, most of the movies are way older than they are they had no interest in it. I think my 5 year old watched the audience more than the show. She couldn’t wait for Elsa though.

  • Really great show!

by Pats Family on 1/7/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 5 out of 5

After reading reviews I got nervous about how this show would be. It was great!!! My 4 year old daughter loved every minute of the show!

  • My niece enjoyed the show!

by Erocka on 1/7/25XL CENTER - HartfordRating: 4 out of 5

Perfect event for kids. My niece loved the story line of Moana and Frozen! She was hopeful Mufasa would make an appearance but hopefully they can accommodate this for next year.
