Leading Australian retailer EB Games has stopped selling premium Xbox 360 consoles following a recall.
The systems are reportedly carrying a hard disk fault. Kotaku reports that sources within the firm have said that store managers were asked by EB’s headquarters to test every unit it had in stock a fortnight ago.
The managers were then asked to return the units and remove Xbox 360 promotional material from stores. It is not known if any other Australian retailer has encountered the same problems.
Eb Games continues to stock the core 360 model, and Kotaku understand that it will have the premium version back in stock by Wednesday.
