505 Games partners with Curve Digital to bring Human: Fall Flat to mobile

505 Games and Curve Digital have partnered up to bring Human: Fall Flat to mobile devices.

The mobile versions of "hilariously inventive 3D-platform-puzzler" Human: Fall Flat will be developed by Dutch developer, Codeglue, which also brought Terraria to mobile.

"505 Games are proud to bring our vast experience of faithfully developing and publishing on mobile platforms to help our friends at Curve Digital bring one of their major IPs to an even broader audience," said Neil Ralley, president of 505 Games. "Through our experience with Terraria and other mobile projects, we know how to optimise PC and console games to play on touch screens and ensure that the gameplay inputs and user interfaces are as intuitive as they are on other platforms."

"Curve has sold over 5 million copies of Human: Fall Flat on PC and console, so we’re delighted to work with 505 on the mobile version. Their experience in marketing premium games on that platform is really important to us and No Brakes Games," said Dominic Wheatley, CEO of Curve Digital.

"When I created Human: Fall Flat, I was just a lone developer with a day job trying my hand at creating something funny and new," creator Tomas Sakalauskas said on finding out the game had sold 5 million copies. "Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to sell a million copies. And 5 million? I’m flummoxed! I can’t express how grateful I am."

“It’s true to say that Human Fall Flat has put us on the global map," Curve’s Simon Byron told MCV last year. "We’re talking to companies now, where we were struggling to get a foot through the door before, but because of its success in Asia, it’s really opened some doors for us. We worked so hard to launch that game and keep the momentum going."
