The Untitled Games Project is looking for games industry guests for Season 2

The Untitled Games Project podcast has put out a call for guests for its next season.

The Untitled Games Project is a high-concept show that invites guests to visit ‘The Magic Games Studio’, a developer with unlimited resources, to ‘build their dream game out of parts of their favourite games, and their limitless imagination’. Most episodes are just over an hour.

Guests that appeared on Season 1 of the fantasy game development show included Twitch streamer Sean Morley, author and games journalist Alice Bell, MCV/DEVELOP’s staff writer Vince Pavey, and more.

“Season 1 was so much fun for myself and the guests. Even for what was intended to be a trial run, the format slotted into place so perfectly,” said Cal Doughty, host and creator of The Untitled Games Project.

“What really surprised me was how silly everything got. This is different from your typical ‘Make your dream X’ – because guests are encouraged to pick parts from various favourite games, half the fun is in trying to fit those parts together – mashing squares into triangle holes. Now that we know that’s where the fun is, Season 2 promises to be even more chaotic in that regard.

“I’m looking for guests with ties to the games industry, and with a varied gaming knowledge and background, who are willing to be silly and not take things seriously. If that’s you, get in touch!”

If you think you’d be a good fit and would like to get in touch with Cal to apply to be on the show, you can do that by sending him an email.

About Vince Pavey

Vince is a writer from the North-East of England who has worked on comics for The Beano and Doctor Who. He likes to play video games and eat good food. Sometimes he does both at the same time, but he probably shouldn’t.
