Please welcome Chris Wallace – MCV’s new staff writer

Chris Wallace has joined the MCV team as our newest staff writer. Wallace comes as a graduate of Cardiff University, with a Master’s degree in Magazine Journalism. During his studies, Wallace interned twice at MCV, providing news and features coverage.

Our new staff writer has previously written for VG247 and Rock Paper Shotgun, and has a deep, crippling obsession with both the Life is Strange and Persona series, to the extent that he occasionally needs reminding that other games do in fact, exist.

He’ll be taking over from Marie Dealessandri, who’s moved on to Gamesindustry.biz. So please CC him in on anything that Marie previously dealt with and please add him to your press release list.  He can be reached at chris.wallace@biz-media.co.uk, or via Twitter @wallacec42.

MCV editor Seth Barton types: “We were really pleased with the work Chris did for us as an intern, such as his feature on State of Decay 2, and as one the few young people in the country with an actual qualification in magazine journalism it was an easy decision to bring him onboard.”

Chris will be attending EGX and the industry party on Thursday, so if you see him around then please say hello!
