Supermassive Games has announced three new hires to the team handling the firm’s virtual reality projects.
Steve Brown has joined the Guildford studio as audio director. Brown joins from the recently closed Lionhead, where he worked on the scrapped Fable Legends and Kinect-based title Fable Journey. He has 13 years’ experience with audio in games, having worked on titles such as Haunt and the Guitar Hero series.
Gary Napper joins as game director bringing 16 years’ experience from stints at EA UK. Bright Light, Criterion and more. He most recently worked on VR projects at PlayStation, before which he was design director on Creative Assembly’s Alien: Isolation.
Finally, Ian Palmer has been hired as art director. He has worked on multiple hit franchises, such as Burnout, Need for Speed and Harry Potter, most recently contributing to the F1 games at Codemasters.
