Testronic is bolstering its QA and localisation offering by opening a new office in Bangkok, Thailand to cater for the Asian games industry. This joins the company’s existing locations in the UK, Poland and the US. Its focus will be on helping western developers and publishers to target the Asian market, adding cultural and business intelligence to its QA and localisation offerings.
To make all this possible Lily Gavin-Allen has been hired as the head of business development at the Bangkok office. Gavin-Allen has extensive experience in the area, particularly in biz dev and localisation, making her the perfect choice for the role.
"I am excited to be joining Testronic at such an exciting time for the industry,” says Gavin-Allen. “With the Asia market expanding into the western market, and vice versa, Testronic is perfectly positioned to provide a bridge between the two.”
Testronic’s head of sales & marketing Mike Betti adds: “The Asia Pacific games market is very different to that of Western territories. Lily’s experience in this region makes her invaluable to us – and our clients – in bringing East and West together. There’s huge opportunity for western games publishers to target gamers in the Asia Pacific region, and for Asian publishers to bring their games to western markets. The new Testronic Asia office will provide the gateway.”
