EXTRAORDINARY IMPRESSIVE MONUMENTAL AMAZING AWESOME
This was a Christmas gift for our son and he really enjoyed it. It felt real other than we were a little closer so I could see the actual stage below. I would recommend going up a little higher in the section but overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it if you are a U2 fan.
Such an amazing venue with superb technology and I had to pay $100 to watch a recording of a U2 concert and I don't even like U2. I thought there would at lease be cool visuals and there was not. Very disappointing.
The actual show starts around 7:45pm. Not at 7pm as stated at purchase time. As we thought 7pm we were there 45min early for opening doors as stated on tickets. When we got there we were told the Sphere doesn’t open until 7pm so we were in the cold outside. Then 30mins in line for the actual door opening. And then waited for show start. Which was amazing, the sphere is beautiful. But all that waiting was not ok!
The tickets should say doors open at seven and showtime at eight as we could not find consistent information about door opening and showtimes online so we arrived quite early and had to wait an hour for the doors to open. The tickets only say 7 PM but nothing else. Otherwise all was good and the show was very good too.
It was nice, but boring show. If you are a U2 Fan maybe this is something for you. I found it boring and the show is not using the full potential of this place. Too expensive.i saw people leaving during the show.
Saw U2 immersive experience. Just incredible, really enjoyed the experience. Sat in 407 and had great view of the entire screen. Feels almost real. Definitely see this or something else there, you won't regret it.
I had seen the actual U2 UV concert three times in The Sphere when Bono, The Edge, Adam and Bram came to town and was blown away so I was anxious to “see it again”. I had to laugh out loud when the band first appeared in the film (if you can dare call it a film) since it was so realistic you would have thought they were actually there. Having seen the Concert I knew what to expect graphically and what songs would be played etc. I think if you only get to go to immersive film your experience could be better as you don't know what to expect. I recommend it to anybody who at all likes U2 or wants to see the latest in entertainment technology. The future is here but is not evenly distributed and resides in Las Vegas. Way better than IMAX as some have compared it to. Not as long as the actual Concert with less songs but still worth it. Some have complained about the price which I think is unwarranted as the Sphere is one expensive building. I went on a week night got it for around $100 and parked for less than $20 right next to the Sphere. Also you are in Vegas where all the action is not your hometown. Any seat is good. I sat in the 400 level. Might even be better than sitting low as it may be less realistic. Not sure. The Sphere staff is super friendly and helpful. The lobby is very cool and the robots are fun. Not quite better than real thing but a great way to see U2 and the future. There is also an homage to Elvis. Viva Las Vegas!
Looks that they are there, love it!!!! I highly recommended!!!
I am a big U2 fan and have always been impressed with their performances, but this took it to a new level. The technology that was added to this movie concert will blow your mind. At times you will feel you have the best up close and personal seats and at times you will be transported to them performing at a concert venue with amazing special effects to performing on the Las Vegas strip to performing in the desert...... The special effects and sounds go on and on. You will find yourself clapping between songs and forgetting you are at a movie .
